Open Source Solutions to centralisation. Part 1

in #investing7 years ago (edited)

I love Open source technology. and i think that you should also love it too.

Open source allows for the original source code to be made freely available and may be redistributed and modified by anybody who deems it fit to so so. This gives us the opportunity to improve existing applications for the better and can actually promote freedom and empowerment because of the concept of "Marketplace of ideas".

A lot of the open source creations widely available today, such as Ripenear.me. This platform allows for growers to be matched accordingly with buyers within your surrounding area.  The buyers can get a snapshot of the food both wild and home grown around the country being sold or given away for free. Like in the snapshot below. so feel free to browse around the world.

This is just one of the exciting technology arriving at an ever increasing pace affecting your life for the better. Although this is not the sole technology however and perhaps building your own car within a hour and be on the road thereafter may be more of interest ? or maybe building a DIY machine transforming plastic into 3D printer ink or maybe building a gun and hopefully next up to be able to build a home...... Although i cannot see it for now though....

Moving away from a world of centralisation which has it's pros and cons, to a world of decentralisation and individualism. Which is my opinion has way more benefits than centralisation because of the  laissez faire approach, which of course resonates with us freedom lovers. (duhh)

These are just a handful of  new and improving technology  and shall be posting a part 2, offering more open source solutions that empower the individual.
