Secondo Newton, le forze non sono la causa del moto, ma producono una variazione dello stato di moto, ossia un'accelerazione del corpi.
Questa intuizione equivale alla relatività del movimento; dove un osservatore può determinare il suo stato di quiete o di moto solo relativamente ad altri corpi in questo caso tutte le sfere.
Il moto e la causa generata di una posizione di un corpo in funzione nel tempo è stato il primo problema affrontato dalla fisica,i calcoli delle traiettorie e delle forze esercitate dai corpi basati sulle leggi Newtoniane .
Forza del moto detta anche forza d'inerzia mentre nella meccanica classica la posizione di un punto nello spazio è determinata dal vettore posizione definito all'interno di un sistema cartesiano.
Il concetto matematico di vettore nasce dall'idea intuitiva di una grandezza fisica (come ad esempio spostamento, accelerazione e forza)
Bel post, in questo esempio la forza d'inerzia, tralasciando gli attriti vari si trasforma in forza potenziale e vice versa.
