Steemians,it's beejay on the beats! When I count my blessings,I count steemit twice! @kossyy mentioned steemit to me and @topdollar talked me in into competing in the steemit open mic contest. I got convinced and gave it a try and really it was worth it. Before now, I was interested in music but I didn't have the drive. This was a clear case of what the holy book described as "the spirit is willing but the flesh is weak" this was me! I loved music,I had the voice but I couldn't put myself to sing. After I did the contest,it wasn't the case anymore the drive was here now....I started writing even my own songs, recording videos and even thinking so big as to hitting the studio real soon..steemit did it🙌🙌
Interestingly my social life was also affected tremendously,I could make friends instantly with just the sentence "have you heard about steemit?" and the conversation gets going this actually is unbelievable because I've never been able to keep up with a conversation for so long and who knows I might even have made lifetime friends.
Really, steemit has helped me discover a talent.Writing is such great tool.It helps you express yourself just exactly how you feel... I'm open to understanding the underlying skills,I badly want to increase the range of my vocabularies,I'm yearning to discover the secrets behind a good write up,I'm so eager to explore all the contents of this tool and lastly I can't wait to maximize all the benefits that come along side this talent. Finally this one is so important to me.Steemit has reduced the number of active hours I used to spend on social media be it twitter, facebook and what have you.... I'm more focused on things that add to life rather than subtract from it. This is a plus to be honest.
Thanks to steemit for this awesome platform, it has helped me discover a talent, make more friends, exchange important contents with other steemians in the community and be rather more focused on doing positive things because in the end, it's the little things that count
@surpassinggoogle, thank you a whole lot for this wonderful opportunity. I'm grateful that I can use this platform as a pedestal to attain greater heights and achieve maximum success
