Have you ever been the reason to someone's happiness?
Have you put a lasting smile on someone's face?
Inside a vehicle I boarded smile to make each day count
home yesterday I was just acting funny cracking all the jokes I could just so the journey won't be boring but I noticed that there's one particular guy that wasn't smiling nor laughing to the jokes. In my mind lots of questions were running through, it could be he's not a laughing type, it could be someone has dissapointed him or it could be today is not his lucky day. But whatever it is I will find out today, that was what I resolved in my heart to do. Funny enough the vehicle develop a little problem and the driver asked us to wait for him to fix it, my friend, the guy that wasn't smiling was the first to utter an abusive word on the driver. You calm down na and exercise some patience was my response to him and he exploded. I jumped into a conclusion that he has anger issues but I held my peace and later walk up to him and asked him "bro when last did you smile"? The way he looked at me I felt like I should vanish but at the end of the day I offer to pay his fares and that was when "thank you" turn up to conversation but before we parted ways I was able to put a smile on his face for that day. look at the great smile from a friend of mine that fly on plane for the first time
Why did I bring up this story?
It's to give us all a wake up call to the saying
"The beauty of life does not depend on how happy you are, but how happy others can be because of you. "
There are people living with us, around us and within us that we need to reach out to by putting smiles on their faces, making them happy because of the gift and the blessing of me and you around them.
If each one of us can touch a life positively and put a smile in at least two people faces everyday, then those two make another two smile and the chain continue like that we could make the world the garden of Eden.
Believe me you are everything I need to smile and to be in my garden of Eden
Put a smile on people's faces today and make each of their day to count.
