I've been looking for more info about taverngames and I just bumped into your review. Thanks for sharing more info about this project.
The first season is over, and I spent some time to build a script that goes through all the transactions from this season, and analyses all the data in the blockchain.

I've been wondering how many users do currently play this game and how popular is it. any idea? And what's your own impression - is it project that grabs user long-term attention? Or is it just a game you play once and never come back?

I'm playing it every day, since the very first day. The rewards and the daily quests are bringing you back, again, and again. The dev team is very active (also on discord) and they plan to have additional games. In one word, a great success (sorry for the two words) :-)
