South Korea's Financial Services Commission is going to temporarily set up the Financial Innovation Bureau, a policy-making department for the Korean fintech companies, developing responses to "new developments and challenges such as cryptocurrencies" for two years onwards.
This came in the face of the long-anticipated and now growing effort to regulate the crypto industry.
As a reminder, South Korea banned ICOs last year, but this May the ban turned out to be officially removed.
