What I Love About Korea #2

in #korea7 years ago

When you visit Seoul, no matter how busy you may be, there is a place you must visit before you leave.

At the heart of Seoul, you will see the beautiful GYEONGBOKGUNG Palace.

Built in 1395, Gyeongbokgung Palace was the main royal palace of the Joseon Dynasty, and is the most largest and regarded as the most beautiful out of all five palaces remaining in Seoul today.

The premises was once destroyed by fire during the Japanese Invasions (1592-1598), however, later restored during the reign of King Gojong (1852-1919) under the leadership of Heungseon Daewongun.

So beautiful, both day and night☆
