Taken from atop of the California Trail at Heavenly Ski Resort, Lake Tahoe. It was definitely a bluebird day of snowboarding. Snow was a bit heavy but still very enjoyable.
Heavenly is definitely more favorable for skiers as there are flat areas where ski poles would make life much easier. That said, the vastness of the mountain and the view is certainly worth it for all snow adventure seekers!
