Simple Questions That Pose More Thought Than Necessary

"HOW ARE YOU FEELING TODAY?"

  1. How and today is annoying together. If the today wasn't added on the end I could answer in present moment which is easy, because I know exactly how I'm feeling at any given moment. If How wasn't added at the start, I could simply answer, Yes.

  2. Today. Think how many feelings you have in a 24 hour period. It's lucky if they're all very similar but what are the odds? Realistically, how can anyone sum up how they are feeling today without being vague and using common socially acceptable phrases, like good / not too bad / ok / a bit down etc.

In the end, more questions are needed to compensate for the badly phrased original vague question.
