Welcome all to this week's EDSvote update where we look at a range of different things. Please follow the @eddie-earner account to make sure all our reports are going into your feed and you can easily stay updated on your investment.

What is EDSvote?
Eds-vote is an account that people can delegate HIVE POWER to. In return for their delegation, they will receive EDS tokens each Monday.

The delegated HP will be used to curate content on HIVE and provide small upvotes for those that hold over 100 EDS tokens. Delegating HIVE POWER to @eds-vote will not result in an upvote. This is not a delegation to upvote service. It is a way to distribute the remaining reallocated EDS into circulation.

What are EDS tokens?
EDS tokens are HIVE income tokens that are pegged and backed to 1 HIVE each. They pay out weekly dividends every Monday based on 12% of the total powered-up HIVE balance of the @eddie-earner account. This is currently paying out an APY to token holders of roughly 35%.

How does it work?

Report #46

Let's have a look at the numbers in chart form as this is the best way to see performance and predict the future.

image.png

We are back on the increase recorded as 126k incoming HP this week. Currently we have just over 130k being delegated in so we've grown more since Monday. This is brilliant to see that people are continuing to join in are up current delegations. I just love minting EDS tokens, the sooner we hardcap, the sooner we can retire 🎉

Our curation APY was high this week at 9% APY which is odd but good. Odd because HP earning are from a smaller HP balance last week and the voting power of the account the the same as last week so we pretty much used our 1000% of daily upvoting allocation perfectly.

In pleb terms, We're smashing HIVE curation

image.png

When the APY is good, the HP earnings are good and we earned 217.38 HP this week. If we can keep up our current delegations, we'll earn over 10k HP a year and 5k of that will be diverted to @eddie-earner. Good times cause this helps to speed up the EDS APY flip and cause your minting EDS, your winning!

image.png

We minted 108.69 EDS from @eds-vote this week. Not too bad at all and this would be 5k per year cause EDS mintage from eds-vote is equal to 50% of curation rewards. If we can keep growing by a few thousand HP per week, we'll keep minting more EDS into circulation and one day, it would be amazing to see this minting 200 EDS a week sometime after a few more years.

Round Up

Smashing it, we still earning over 200 HP per week so our powerdown to EDS should enable us to stay at this level for the next powerdown starting in 7ish weeks. The delegated in HP amount is increasing again, curation APY and earning are very good and we minted over 100 EDS. I'd say thats a pretty good week.

Thank you to everyone who supports @eds-vote. I mean you're getting EDS tokens but thank you for accepting that 50% of curation earnings are fed directly into EDS itself to help speed up its progress. It really helps alot and it is saving us years in waiting time for the EDS APY to happen.

@eds-vote is 1 of 3 ways to mint new EDS into circulation. EDS miners are long sold out and in diamond hands, EDSD is our HBD back token that yields a 10% APY as EDS tokens and then @eds-vote, the one where you do not need to hold over any hard HIVE or HBD, the one where you can delegate any amount the HP (the more the better) and receive EDS tokens each Monday in return. It's kinda the same for EDS and EDSD because they are both pegged to 1 but you are always in control of your HP and decide when to enter and leave.

Another great week behind us, lets do it again
