What is EDSvote?
Eds-vote is an account that people can delegate HIVE POWER to. In return for their delegation, they will receive EDS tokens each Monday.
The delegated HP will be used to curate content on HIVE and provide small upvotes for those that hold over 100 EDS tokens. Delegating HIVE POWER to @eds-vote will not result in an upvote. This is not a delegation to upvote service. It is a way to distribute the remaining reallocated EDS into circulation.
What are EDS tokens?
EDS tokens are HIVE income tokens that are pegged and backed to 1 HIVE each. They pay out weekly dividends every Monday based on 12% of the total powered-up HIVE balance of the @eddie-earner account. This is currently paying out an APY to token holders of roughly 35%.

Let's have a look at the numbers in chart form as this is the best way to see performance and predict the future.
Slight decline this week but nothing to worry about. We're getting there slowly and closer to 150k of incoming HP delegations. The overall trend is still up.
We did 8.23% APY this week as predicated last week. I cant remember the reason why but i remember saying it would be lower. I think, oh yes. It's because we are rebuilding the voting power. Over 8% is our bench mark so im glad to see it.
Total rewards this week were 213 HP which is not bad considering I've pulled back on voting %'s 2 weeks back. Hopefully, I can find a sweet spot where the VP stays fairly stable. Currently, we're earning over 10k HP a year from curation, not too bad at all.
We minted and issued 106 EDS to @eds-vote HP delegators this week. This just over a third of the amount EDS miners mint each week so EDS-vote is doing ok. It could always be doing better and maybe someday we can dream of having 300k HP being delegated in. That would mint over 200 EDS a week!
Its been a good week for eds-vote, everything is working fine and nothing really more to report.
