Welcome all to this week's EDSvote update where we look at a range of different things. Please follow the @eddie-earner account to make sure all our reports are going into your feed and you can easily stay updated on your investment.
What is EDSvote?
Eds-vote is an account that people can delegate HIVE POWER to. In return for their delegation, they will receive EDS tokens each Monday.
The delegated HP will be used to curate content on HIVE and provide small upvotes for those that hold over 100 EDS tokens. Delegating HIVE POWER to @eds-vote will not result in an upvote. This is not a delegation to upvote service. It is a way to distribute the remaining reallocated EDS into circulation.
What are EDS tokens?
EDS tokens are HIVE income tokens that are pegged and backed to 1 HIVE each. They pay out weekly dividends every Monday based on 12% of the total powered-up HIVE balance of the @eddie-earner account. This is currently paying out an APY to token holders of roughly 35%.

Let's have a look at the numbers in chart form as this is the best way to see performance and predict the future.
Great week with around 3500 HP growth, thank you to everyone that is supporting us. Things should be better again next week because today we're sitting on 140k being delegated in so we're edging closer to 150k each week.
8.41% so fairly standard and about what we're aiming for. The voting power is getting hit a little harder and declining again so I'll need to adjust voting percentages again to even everything out. 8% is our bench markand i dot like to far above are below it because that's result of a big movement on our voting power.
We earned 223 HP this week from curation rewards, this is exactly where we want to be, earning solidly over 200 a week because that ensures we can continue a 200 weekly powerdown to @eddie-earner.
And of course, we want to be issuing more EDS out to HP delegators. This week, we minted 11.79 EDS and they were shipped out on Monday morning.
Round-Up
We're seen good incoming HP growth the past few weeks, adding 2-3k each week. If we can get to 150k soon, that would be amazing and a cool milestone to cross over.
