This is an initiative that aims to reward the best content creators on Hive picked by the community through decentralized Polls on Threads, while doing a coordinated effort to promote Hive on web2 social media platforms. If you want to learn more about this, click here
Week 1 Winners!
This first week(end) we had eight communities who published their "Author of the Week" contenders on a decentralized poll, and the community spoke out and picked their favorite author!
If you want to get involved in these Decentralized Curation polls, be on the lookout for the announcements using the #topauthors tag, and/or make sure to check out the #topauthors tag on Threads to vote on these polls during the weekend!

This was a great first week, and we had seven communities joining this initiative.
We already have around 20 communities in total who will join the "Author of the week" initiative.

We will start with the Twitter marketing this week, although it is only until next week that we will have enough funds to start the real promotion.
In the meantime, go visit Threads and be on the lookout for the #topauthors tag to vote on these Decentralized Curation Polls!
Due to a distraction we didn't set this post with @reward.app, but these compilations will use that service to have liquid HBD so we have funds to promote and market the winning authors on Twitter

FYI @kemmyb: your winners reward will come to you in about 2 weeks' time. The Week 2 voting poll for Scholar and Scribe will have you as a 60% beneficiary and @reward.app should route that into a liquid reward when it pays out (right around when we post the Week 3 poll).
