It is general purpose meaning you can post whatever you want. It doesnt have to be Leofinance related content.
Also since it is on blockchain, any front end can integrate it in. They only need to tap into the file.

Other front ends are free to display content on the blockchain in the same way, if they choose.
But the reality is that front-ends like PeakD and Ecency are nothing more than private companies who are competing with leofinance.io for content and traffic.
They won't want to use the same container posts so it will be fragmented.
