How many times, have you clicked a post in Hive, on the trending page, just by looking at the reputation of that author??
I certainly do if the author is unknown.

I certainly do if the author is unknown.
When you do this, what are you looking for?
Does a higher reputation make you click?
Or you want to find relatively undiscovered authors with lower reputation scores?
See, for me, if am to explore a new author, the natural instinct, is always to go by the author's reputation. I am not saying high rep is the premise to click on the post, that's the natural instinct, a user generally has.
To further extend it, I must say, Rep is still relevant and will remain relevant in Hive.
I never look at trending page.
My reputation cannot be quantified.
That means it's precious!!
Once upon a time when bot culture was prevalent in Hive, the Rep was hogwash, but a lot more has changed, and now Rep is more organic than ever.
I should educate myself on the rep thing. I don't understand it at all.
