I imagine that the GMs don't always spend to compete in a stacked division. The Rays have a great farm system and attract no Free Agents even though the taxes are non-existent down here. I think its harder for the Jays to attract and spend. But if those youngsters get good, then watch out!
I was pretty fascinated by the Jays 2 years ago with all the 2nd generation stars. I had high hopes.
Yeah they got some talent...But it's always a catch 22 in the AL East lol
