Social networking emerged as a means of interacting with friends and family but was later adopted by companies that wanted to take advantage of a new and popular means of communication to reach customers. The power of social networking is the ability to communicate and exchange information with anyone on earth, or with many people at once.
Globally, there are more than 3 billion social media users. Social media are a constantly evolving and evolving web-based platform.
According to the Pew Research Center, social media users tend to be younger. About 90 percent of people between the ages of 18 and 29 use at least one form of social communication. Moreover, these users tend to be better educated and relatively wealthy, or earn more than $ 75,000 a year.
