The pendulum goes one way, to one extreme, and then, trying to correct things, goes into another extreme.. and is again not centered/balanced.
This happens all the time, on various levels, or within various spheres of society.

I agree with pretty much everything you wrote, and have raised two powerful individuals....kickass human beings, instead of empowered snowflakes, so... yeah, I agree.
