On the scale of most hideously embarrassing things that could happen... this is pretty funny! I can just imagine the sheer awkward silence and stunned reaction... I think I would have run out the door and quit the profession.... maybe it would have been less bad if you tried to suck the wine out of the napkins or wrung them back into the glass?
