Peru is a country located in South America. It is surrounded from the east by the high peaks of the Andes, and from the west by the vast expanses of the Pacific Ocean. The civilization of the Incas was more developed than the European states, in the jungle huge cities were built in which developed engineering systems existed.
In the middle of the 16th century Spanish conquistadors arrived here, quickly destroyed the ancient civilization and the country became part of the colonial possessions of Spain.
