This little tree frog kept me company while doing a load of laundry this afternoon. He hung out on the water barrel and kept an eye on the quality of my work.

Homesteading provides me with these moments of beauty. I share the joy of this life with you all.

Have a lovely week folks!

Love the little tree frog, @borrowedearth! They are so darned cute. I have one tiny green dude that lives in my bathroom. Sings to me every morning! 🤣

Really?! I think if a frog got in here, he would become a cat toy. 😹

For some reason, the cats leave him alone. Perhaps it is because they have a lot of fun catching little geckos.

Ah ha ha, yeah I can see that. I would think the geckos would be more enticing to kitties, too.

This brings memories of India back. We had what I believe were lizards living in the house with us... It was fun watching them dart from behind one picture to the next upon the wall.

I don't mind the little critters. They eat lots of insects.

I love frogs and toads. I found a similar one last year...

What a little cutie...
The creatures around us are so beautiful. We each have our local role to play.

Wow, he's so pale colored! I don't think I've ever seen a frog quite that color before.

I believe tree frogs are able to shift their coloring as camouflage some. The inside of this barrel is gray so I think this is why he is so pale.

Oh, that makes sense!
