Meet my Grandmother MAMA LO
I want to share something about grandparents, truly our grandparents have in their minds they have a lot and they really experience many things in their life, most of them telling stories of their past and we got inspired about it then we learn by their stories from good to bad and ups and downs. But when that time comes they got sick that's the time we recall everything when the time was so beautiful being by their side taking and everything that seems to be just like that moment with all the laughter.
Now my grandmother has a DEMENTIA,
Dementia is not a specific disease. It's an overall term that describes a wide range of symptoms associated with a decline in memory or other thinking skills severe enough to reduce a person's ability to perform everyday activities. The most common type of dementia is Alzheimer's disease, which makes up 50% to 70% of cases.

I am remembering now how did mama Lo bond with her grandchildren as a memory she left for us
These are memories she give us when the time she remember our names and everything was full of hugs and kisses for mama Lo with other stories she tell to us but now she's here with us but she can't remember any of us.
She talks about anything now and most of the stories she tells is the moment we cant recognize from her other experience in life.
she's in bed rest now with my tita's house, we visit her time to time and talk to her when we are there beside her, comforting her in anyway. As long as we see her smiling that's a wonderful beautiful moment looking at her face
It's never been to late to your grandparents even they are sick as long your there doing things for them when they were widely fully remembered things. Now I am convince to make time in everything specially to my family members.
Always make your mind open, try to make something new or try to do it as long someone could remembered it you made the best of you.
Lola's love is priceless.
so true.. and please do share my blog thank you :)
This reminds me of the movie THE NOTEBOOK that costs me tears everytime I watch.
May your Lola find much love from the family. Maybe telling her stories and showing her pictures can make her remember the good days of yesteryears.
super true i thought i only see this in the movies but now here it is with my lola's experience. we are giving everything for her and letting her talk about her kids some of it are true and some are we can't understand :)
