@steevc, also what I'm going to say is nothing personal. For me to be honest or honest as you say, is not to steal, kill, deceive people, envy other people among other bad things that exist in the world. Please do not compare this with votes on steem. I help people .. Do you give flags? Regarding what you say about your vote being insignificant, your vote may be insignificant to you but if at the time you sent it to me I would give it to someone else who needs it because to many people who are in the steemit can be the food they need in a day to survive. Think about it. For me this is a closed subject. Do with your blog whatever you want, but do not go into the neighbor's yard just to waste your precious time with small criticisms. I believe this is the way @chbartist wanted to promote his messages to people around the world, and I admire his messages for they are positive and somehow people like me in the third -world country are learning. If his posts are not on trending I would not bother reading, but since they are because of his vote buying I am reading them and I am learning...This is to encourage him to keep on what he is doing, anyway it is his right and it is his money, what's more important is he is making an impact to other people's lives . I've been on Steemit for...a longish while...and I have tried to avoid networks that vote for each other, hoping that the quality and variety of my articles would be sufficient to earn money. It doesn't matter what my topics are - the only topic that earned any real money was on the death of my wife, after which I went on hiatus.
A few months ago, I was trying to add steempower but I accidentally removed it all, causing my voting power to drop significantly even though I put in more than I'd taken out. Now I earn even less.
The volume of users here has only increased. Any chance of trending because of the true value of my posts disappeared a long time ago - I've just been holding onto the illusory hope of success. This is a luxury I can ill afford as an underpaid widower with two young children. It is frustrating to spend so many hours on an article but not even earn enough to get 1 cent per hour. Most of my recent articles took a few hours to up to 3 days to prepare, especially the ones about editing on Steemit. 😭
Therefore, I want to ask for your recommendation on a voting group I can join so that I can actually earn money for my efforts on Steemit. Would you please? I'm looking for a reputable group that is ethical and rewards its members when they do good articles, ignores (and gives guidance to, I'd hope) mediocrity, and punishes bad/illegal articles.
I'm hoping that, this way, I'll be able to earn good money and be at home with my kids instead of being undervalued and underpaid making others rich.

I am unfamiliar with dtube. How would it differ from posting videos on YouTube, Vimeo, etc., and posting a link and article here? In other words, what is the advantage of dtube? Thank you!
d.tube is like steemit, you get rewards whenever you get upvotes in your videos...
I give flags where I think they benefit steemit. My votes go to others and I delegate to lots of people. It's not all about self promotion and accumulating wealth. What you pay for votes could help others, but it just makes whales richer.
