Jakarta - Tak cuma deretan mobil dan motor canggih saja yang mejeng di pameran Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) 2018. Yang unik, ada juga replika motor Harley-Davidson dan mobil Ferrari yang keseluruhannya terbuat dari kayu.
Replika mobil dan motor tersebut dikerjakan oleh PT SSA yakni sebuah perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang kayu (flooring, decking, dan sawn timber). Sang pemilik, Santoz selain memiliki usaha di bidang kayu juga bercita-cita untuk dapat menciptakan produk dari bahan baku kayu yang dikreasikan menjadi produk seni.

Sayangnya mobil ini memang tidak menggendong mesin, sehingga kalau ingin melihatnya berjalan, maka mobil harus didorong. Di bagian dalam, terdapat juga setir seolah-olah mobil bisa dikendarai. Untuk mengangkutnya saja butuh sekitar 14 orang.
Meski bisa berjalan hanya dengan cara didorong, replika mobil dengan harga Rp 500 jutaan itu sudah laris lho!
Itu terlihat saat detikOto berkunjung ke booth milik PT SSA di IIMS 2018. Di atas mobil replika itu terdapat tulisan 'Reserved'.

Selain Ferrari, ada juga dua replika motor Harley-Davidson yang sangat mirip dengan aslinya walaupun terbuat dari kayu. Mulai dari spion, pijakan kaki, hingga knalpot-knalpotnya betul-betul sama.
Namun dua motor ini masih menunggu calon pembeli. Nah kalau Otolovers berminat, bisa melihatnya langsung di pameran Indonesia International Motor Show Hall B hingga pameran usai tanggal 29 April 2018
