From sleep or a long nap I wake up and go outside to a cool night or a cool early morning. My cat that I called in earlier that didn't want to come in now joins me as I sit on my reclining yard chair and stare at the moon or the lesser light.
Earlier I seen two falling stars. Two fiery stones that each gives their streaks of light. The pieces of the firmament that have fallen from on high.
As I pet my cat I think I will capture this moment of the moon or lesser light with my trusty flip phone. There I have and will record it in the blockchain forever or at least as long as the internet is alive.
I have heard that some have recorded temperatures in the moon light and in the shade from the moon light. They say that the moon light is cooler in it's light than in it's shadow. That is the complete opposite of the sun or greater light where temperatures of sun are hotter in it's light than in it's shadow or shade.
It is time to come inside the home. This time my cat willingly follows me. I lock the door and give her a treat. After writing this blog I will go back to sleep.

Hard to believe that nothing is holding it there, like a cable, tethered to the Earth. Yet it is always there. Just like we are always on the ground. I guess old Issac Newton was a pretty sharp cookie.
Thanks @old-guy-photos! Yes we are always on the ground and the moon is always up there set in the firmament. Most years there are 12 full moons in a year and some years there are 13 full moons in a year. Next year, 2018 is a year when we will see 13 full moons in a year. The moon is so reliable for telling time like the sun and stars it is amazing. The handy work of God.

Hello! I watched that same moon earlier in the evening. It peeked out as it began to rise and was an amazing shade of tangerine. It stayed that colour for about an hour. Felt like Autumn was creeping slowly in...:))

Thank you for sharing David, we also love to look at the moon. Sometimes when it is going to be a full moon me and hope777 go down to the beach to sea the moon rise over the ocean. Unfortunately our phone cameras is not so good to give an accurate photo of what we see. As you said to @old-guy-photos, the handywork of our Mighty God.
