Alright let's muse about everything: Road edition

On Easter Sunday, I saw something which had me thinking, worried about the fact that a lot of people endanger others without thinking twice about it and I paused and realized that we need to call bad conduct out a lot more often than we think.

Note: The post might seem offensive at first, take time out and read till the end and you will get the point.

As I was saying; a lady with a tight fitting, long gown was on a bike sitting sideways on the bike. Nornally, people are meant to sit facing the driver, not sitting sideways. The reason was because of her extremely tight gown which she couldn't lift a bit before boarding the motorcycle for fear of her underwear being seen.

That got me thinking, why do we place emphasis sometimes on the little things over the important stuffs? Her underwear (which practically no one might even care about looking at) was more valuable than her life? Why even wear the gown at all knowing fully well that she was going to board a commercial motorcycle.

The reason I point this out is this: a situation might arise where the driver has to make an emergency maneuver or possibly floor the brakes or make contact with another vehicle, simply put, an accident might occur and because she wasn't sitting properly, she might endanger not just her own life but that of the driver.

Secondly, I saw a man driving on a 'one way' lane on the express and almost caused an accident days ago.
The worst part, he was about attacking the innocent motorcyclist who was on his right. I was about stopping to call him out for such a conduct, but other people called him out and he drove away in shame.

Why do we sometimes know the truth and still do what is wrong? Is it just human nature or something we decide to develop by ourselves?
Lives could have been lost over someone's inability to follow basic traffic ordinances.

Life isn't cheap, we should cherish the lives of others just as we cherish ours and even if we don't cherish ours, we should cherish the lives of others.
So many people disobey traffic rules, beating the red lights, endangering ourselves and other motorists, moving around with faulty vehicles and all.

We are not only responsible for ourselves as road users, we are responsible for other road users.
All lives matter, Happy Easter.
