It's been a while - new GPU/Alerts etc.

Oh boy, a lot has been going on and I feel like you may have already forgotten who I am to be honest haha, anyway it's nice to actually write the post and I feel pretty happy doing it, so lets start!

What has been going on?

I've done quite many live streams on DLive platform and also managed to save up enough from my salary to afford myself a new Graphics Card - more from than later in the post.

Most of my free time though I have spent working, a lot of buzz going on right now and my head is completely messed up and I can't think clearly, I'm having trouble waking up etc since I'm so tired, but I guess it's just because the time of the year, these kinds of early-dark weathers make you really exhausted really fast.

Also have been to the gym a lot, have mainly done full-body workout, but had my first actual "Leg Day" haha, it was a pain to do and the next day was a nightmare, but now it's pretty good actually. I was actually surprised how strong my legs were on few exercises.

New Graphics card - What & Why?

The reason for this purchase is simple, I had my PC built ~6 years ago and back then this was top-notch PC. It's been a while now though and live streaming games or actually even just playing games needs a lot stronger components that I have.

The graphics card which I had was a MSI GTX 660, 2GB Version which was a beast.. 4 years ago. The thing with technology is that all of them get outdated so fast, so it's reasonable to actually upgrade your computer every 2 years in my opinion to actually stay in the game.

I replaced my card with a KFA2 Geforce GTX 1060 6GB version and now that card is a beast.

About the card, it's an pretty unknown company you must be thinking, but that's good, because that means that it's not the brand that increases the price. It's very well priced for it's power costing €379 while the other GTX 1060's 6GB's are around 400 etc, you can get cheaper but this with the core clock speeds etc this one is the best. It also has an aluminium back plate which is really nice and I was looking for that.

The sound that the card makes IDLE is not even there, when I plugged it in at first, I was pretty sure the GPU didn't even start because no noise came out of it. Also when gaming the card just doesn't make any sound at all.

The temperatures playing PUBG at ~high stayed about 65 Celsius which is really good while my CPU screamed at 98 haha.

What does the future hold for me?

Well I really would like to continue streaming because that's something that I like to do, I just don't have a lot of time to do, so if possible would try to fit in 2-3 live streams each week followed by hopefully 1-2 regular posts per week.

I'm slowly trying to update the rest of my PC as well since I still own a 3rd Gen Intel i5 processor and 8gb of ddr3 ram, so a big big improvement would be to upgrade that to for example i5 8600k and 16gb of ddr4 ram.

Also want a new case to make the full package look pretty as well, so when everything is done I will make sure to add a picture/post describing everything to here as well.
