No tears are flowing down my cheeks,
But the pain inside still exists,
The memories linger unerasable.
Every day only a smile can cover my emptiness,
Only laughter can hide my pain,
Every night only snores give me a reason to move forward,
Only those small hands give me the strength to strive for happiness.
It is still here, the pain of yesterday,
But I have no intention to bring it to my future,
Day by day I scrap off a little bit of the pain from my heart,
I mold the scrap into a lesson,
which will be a reminder of my worst nightmare,
That I never want to go through again.
