8 years ago, he said he loved me. He wanted us to get serious with each other. He would love to marry me. We are from the same village.

He met me on Facebook. He said he had a child while in the University but he was NEVER married to the mother of his child. He asked that I give him a chance to be a beautiful part of my life.

I didn't think about it before giving him a big fat NO. Uncle, this is one baggage I cannot carry and I need to face my studies.

Uncle got married last year. Then he said "hello" to me again. We started talking to each other again and I'll often tease him by calling him "Married man".

Last year, I met him for the first time and we talked (I always avoided meeting him). He confessed that he was actually really married to the mother of his child but they had long divorced. He said he felt hiding that from me will make me want to say yes to his proposal.

If I called his child a baggage then what would I say about the fact that he has been married before? And.... It's not just one child, they are three actually.
Wow! Yeah! So since he's married now, he just felt like there's no need hiding anything from me anymore.

After an awkward silence, I said, "You know I would have still walked away if I discovered this after celebrating the marriage?

He said, "For where? Marriage is once you've entered, you've entered oh".
Ehen? Tell me more.
He said, "Yes na".

Have real fun this weekend.
