Today's birthday party must be closely related to the birthday cake decorated with candles and candle blowing events. Less good if we hold a birthday celebration without this candle blowing ritual.
Cultural blowing candles at birthdays party have been there since first. The culture of blowing candles during birthdays turns out to have a history and facts. But do you know exactly where the culture comes from?.

Cultural History of Blowing Candles at The Birthday's Party
The beginning of this tradition was when the ancient Romans began to make a round birthday cake.

The cake is made from flour, beans, yeast, and sweetened from honey.
In the early days of Europe, the word cake and bread were visually exchangeable, the only difference being that the cakes were sweeter while the bread did not.
In those days, around the 17th century, the shape of the cake was with the same as of the cake now.
But in those days the birthday cake is available only to the rich only.
Birthday cakes end up becoming populist because of the industrial revolution, as materials and equipment are more easily available.
Culture of Blowing Candles at The Birthday's Party in My Family
Habits in my own family about birthday celebrations, anyone whose birthday is always celebrated. but the birthday party depends on the family's economic financial condition. if the state of the economy incress, then celebrating of birthday's party will be celebrated with a lavish party. but if the current economic opinion is reduced, then the celebration of the birthday party will be held with a simple party.
My family habits in celebrating birthdays do not apply candle blowing culture. but we just celebrate with cuting a cake dan sing a song "happy day to you" together and provider the food to invitees. then proceed with a meal and giving gift to children who do celebrating the birthday's party.

Cultural celebration students of school in Aceh
In the case of this birthday party celebration, in Aceh there are various ways and models. for example among high school students celebrating their friend's birthday by throwing chicken eggs and flour mixed with water to their friends who birthday at day that. This is not a culture inherited by our ancestors (the Acehnese Society), but it is solely the influence of pop culture and contemporary culture.
