So, the 3 feral cats outside are all grey and I can't really tell them apart from each other. I thought there was one female and two males so I got the female spayed a few months ago. However, I was wrong because there are now three black kittens outside. So, I made an appointment to get the other female spayed today. I had to lift all three of them up to look for enlarged nursing nipples to see which one to take to the vet lol. I did that at 7 AM this morning and it was not easy. It's difficult enough to get a domestic cat into a cat carrier. A feral cat is almost impossible. I finally got her in the carrier after quite a struggle. The poor thing was so scared. The vet said that I need to keep her separated from the kittens for a few days because the kittens might tear out the stitches when nursing. So, she's outside now in our screened-in porch. The next step is to get those kittens fixed in a few months.
