The importance of a good morning routine

Most of us are defeated before we even get out of bed, hitting the snooze button on and on before we finally muster the energy to escape the coziness of our beds. This clearly isn’t the optimal way of starting the day as the momentum of your day begins with your morning. Your perfect morning will lead to your perfect day, which will lead to a better life.

My morning ritual right now is as follows:

  1. The first thing I do is make my bed.
  2. Eat my vitamins while I drink a liter of water and prepare a cup of tea.
  3. My morning stretches – I’m aiming to be able to do a full split someday.
  4. I blast through some exercises on Duolingo – Right now I’m working my way through Portuguese, finished Italian and Spanish already!
  5. Meditate for 10 minutes – working on increasing the duration of my sessions but I am struggling with it as is.
  6. And finally, I go for a cold shower and brush my teeth.

None of any point of your routine isn't bad. A lot of people would like their ritual be like yours. Everyone should wake up early in the morning because this makes you live much more. Be positive!
