LONDON (Reuters) - US authorities found the body of the American rock band Lynken Park, Chester Bennington, on Thursday after he committed suicide by hanging at the age of 41.
The singer's body was found at 9 am on Thursday at a Los Angeles home, the TMZ celebrity news website reported.
The singer had previously talked about his suffering with drugs and alcohol, and admitted that he wanted to commit suicide more than once, especially because of the "abuse" suffered during his childhood by a man.
Bennington married twice and has six children.
