I've had an expensive week, we have been promising to buy my youngest daughter who lives with us a new bed, she has had her bed for a long time, to long really plus can't see her moving out any time soon. We both went out shopping together a few weeks ago when we saw a bed that age liked, its a double compared to her Last bed which was a single. She's 24 and at the moment doing her room out to make it more comfortable. It was a deal offer where we got the headboard, base and a good mattress for nearly Β£400, she tried it out and liked it so I bought it. If hubby was there he would have told us to wait, I like things done straight away he likes to wait probably hoping we will forget about it.
Her bed arrived this week, she loves it, now all she has to do is pain a wall and add a few shelfs plus buy a few bits of furniture. I thought that was all we would need but then my Tumble dryer decided to stop working. I usually have all my appliances insured but after searching my bank details I notice the payments stopped over a year ago. I ordered a new one plus insured it straight away, it arrived today. I've just set it up so we can use as have so much washing that needs drying. I went and bought a clothes house to use whilst waiting for the new tumble dryer. I bought it because we were having beautiful sunny weather but as soon as I bought the clothes horse the heavens opened, it rained heavy for 2 days so had to have the clothes horse up in the house. Now my new tumble dryer has arrived the sun is back out with a lovely warm breeze.
The saying goes that these happen in three's, paying for the bed, then a new tumble dryer is twice, I'm hoping the third doesn't arrive. I am going out shopping with my daughter tomorrow, I can imagine that will cost me a fortune. She needs paint got her bedroom, wallpaper for her window wall and a nice dress for a wedding she's going to. She will play the IM SKINT card leaving the bills to me but then I'll get her do some house work to make up for it. I am certainly going to treat myself tomorrow with a few new tops. I owe myself a treat.
ANYWAYS
I am starting to feel better, I'm feeling more in control of my emotions and managing to keep on top of things at home. My birthday went down like a wet rag, I couldn't see many people due to being liaded with cold. My oldest daughter who I had to cancel coming as she is pregnant is coming in Sunday for Lunch, Its been a while since I seen her, I'm looking forward to a cuddle.
