I caught a nasty stomach bug 🦠🤮, it's been a long nasty week. 😪 😔

I've had a really bad week, its been one thing after another. 😠😫

I go out shopping with my hubby and his mum most Saturdays depending on how bad my pain is. We decided that instead of rushing around on a Saturday we will do the shopping on a Thursday then on a Saturday we will take trips out, something special to look forward to. So just over a week ago we went out shopping on the Thursday, this was the 7th of March, whilst we had coffee we arranged our trip out on Saturday, we were going to go have lunch in our local Toby Carvery then go onto a big shop that holds everything you could need on one floor, no stairs or lifts to worry about. When we got home around 4ish we put the shopping away, then made tea, I was having vegetarian meatballs and pasta, I was really looking forward to it, I had 3 mouthfulls then bang a horrible sick feeling, I had to stop eating and go and lie down. I felt terrible, hubby came up to check on me just in time to grab the bowl from the bathroom, I couldn't stop being sick, 11 time later abs feeling really poorly I got myself into bed. Thankfully I wasn't sick again but everyday for 6 days I felt really sick, I couldn't eat or drink much. This morning is the first day I've woken up without a sick feeling.

I was the only one to be really poorly, we thought it was good poisoning at first but after the first day of being sick hubbys stomach started rumbling, he spent the day rushing to the toilet. We have since heard its a bug that's going around, just hits you out of the blue then hangs on you for a week. Your either vomiting or its coming out the other end.

I had just got over the sickness when hubby kept complain about a spot on his back. He had used the wooden back scratcher and thought he had been to rough but when I checked his back there was a hard raised part with tiny little spots, he said it was very painful. He managed to get an appointment with the Nurse, thankfully the nurse called a Doctor in as she wasn't too sure about it, the Doctor said it's shingles. He has been in agony for the last couple of days plus we have found another patch under his arm near his armpit. He is on medication and applying a cream.

We are both on the mend now and planning our trip out for Saturday plus looking for other things to do on a Saturday.

I really feel sorry for my daughters new boyfriend, he arrived at the same time our dog died in the house, he heard us all crying, hubby going in for his hip replacement and being paid off from work, then our youngest pup was being sick, me being sick now hubbys shingles and the Upheaval off getting new windows and doors in. Bless him, he has been through some tough times with us and he's still sticking around. My daughter says he loves coming to our house, he's fitted in really well and gets on with us all. We like him too, I've got everything crossed they stay together as never seen my daughter happier and they make a lovely couple.

ANYWAYS

I did see a little Robin red breast sitting in a tree where my mother in law lives, he made me smile. I haven't seen one for quite a few years. He sat still whilst I crept out of my car then darted to the back of the tree. I managed to get a lovely little photo of him.
