I have had a couple of very anxious days, thankfully we have had new windows and doors replaced plus getting the cladding cleaned, I've had moments of being to busy to think but now the work on the house is finished I'm very anxious. I have a hospital appointment tomorrow morning at 9.45 for a Vestibular treatment, this is me sitting in a chair being strapped in then being swung around to see what happens.

BACK STORY

I've been having quite a few dizzy spells, these always happen when I move from a sitting or lying to standing position, I have to grab something quickly as I feel I'm going to pass out.

I've already had my ears checked, plus gone through a lying to standing test where the Doctor let's you lie for 10 minutes, they then attach a blood pressure monitor to your arm then once your standing they start the BP monitor. We have found that everytime I stand up my Blood pressure drops quite dramatically, I get dizzy and very light headed, this happens all the time. I get scared when it happens when I'm out as people give you nasty looks, they probably think I'm drunk even though I don't drink alcohol but they don't know that.

I have to be at my appointment 10 minutes before my appointment, I'm not allowed to drive for at least an hour after, thankfully hubby is driving me and going to be there for support. I'm getting everything ready and organised tonight so there's no rushing in the morning, I've had to fill in a questionnaire about how, where and when this happens.

I'm really worried incase I pass out or even worse be sick. I'm not eating anything before I go and going to take my morning medication earlier than I do. I'm hoping there is something they can do as it's annoying and gets me very frustrated as it stops me going places incase it happens.

I'll be glad when this test is overwith, hopefully they can get enough information to see why its happening, this can be helped with diet and medication but sometimes it needs surgery. That's the last thing I want.

Thank you for visiting. πŸ’ŸπŸ’Ÿ
