I need a break 😫 life is kicking us at the moment. MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE 🎅 🎄 ❤️

I was expecting my run up to Christmas to be busy, what with the food shopping, Christmas present wrapping etc I also had hubby home after his hip replacement surgery. He was operated on last Friday home on Saturday with Crutches. I could have managed all this extra work when I was fit sadly nearly 60 and disabled I'm shattered. He has to take his medication at certain times, I have to wake him up so he takes his painkillers meaning I only get a few hours inbetween meds. He isn't allowed to do anything for 6 weeks, we have just got to the end of week 1 and I'm worn out. It's been 5 days since I've washed my hair, I nip into the shower to clean my body but can't manage my hair so keep it tied up.

I've also arranged for my daughter and her family to come for Christmas lunch, I'm determined to spend one Christmas with my granddaughter as from next year we are going to there's. My youngest daughter has put the Christmas tree up using all the Disney characters I bought when my Two were growing up, Jessica is taking them back to hers so she can have them for my granddaughter.

I have a full set of porcelain Disney characters that are about 25 years old. Something nice to pass on.

I really want Christmas day to the way I plans, my last Christmas hosting for my family making it a special day with lots of photos for Evie to look at when she's older. It will be the 1st year in 31 years that I'm not cooking Turkey, I have been everywhere but can't find a Turkey Crown not even Turkey breasts, I've had to buy Chicken breasts, thankfully they prefer Chicken. I found a couple of crowns that fed 8, I certainly wasn't going to pay £60 for 4 people.

I've spent all day today wrapping presents and bagging them up ready for the day. Me and hubby usually but ourselfs something nice each but he has recently been made redundant so we are watching the pennies. He doesn't want to go back into the building trade, once his hip is still he is going to look for a little part time job that isn't heavy work to make a little pocket money for us. Its been one thing after another over the last few weeks, I'm hoping 2024 is going to be my year, or at least an easier one.

We have also had to get on with things when all I want to do is cry for my little man Geordie. He's been gone now for just over a week, I miss him so much.

That's me done now all I have left to say is I wish all my friends on here a very Merry Christmas or Happy Holidays, never quite sure what's the best to say. I hope you are all ready for the big day. Sending hugs 🫂 and love ❤️ too everyone.
