Mika is poorly 🐕 she's off her food 😢 😭 off to the Vets in the morning. 🐕🩺😷❤️

I'm lying here crying dreading tomorrow. We lost our Jack Russsl just before Christmas, I'm still not coping very well with him being gone sadly my now oldest dog Mika isn't very well, she's being sick quite alot and has diarrhoea plus she's turning down her food, Mika never turns down food, she will eat just about anything. I'm worried sick as she is in her old age at 14. She could possibly be missing Geordie.

Last night was really bad, she had us up every hour to go outside, this isn't like her at all as she sleeps well, she's had nothing to eat for 24 hours so she must be hungry but still having diarrhoea we have to not let her eat, but still being sick. I've searched the Internet for any help, I was shocked to see that her bed usually live too 10-12, she's 14.

This is Mika lying on the bottom of my bed, she looks very sad. I can't lose her its to soon after Geordie.

Hubby is making an appointment at the Vets for first thing in the morning, hopefully its nothing serious. Her turning away food is a big trigger, she loves her food especially bits of chicken, we know something is wrong when she's turning away Chicken.

We have a routine here that Mika usually makes me stick to, at around 8pm she will stare at me with the odd little bark to get my attention, this means she wants her supper and go to bed. I go into the kitchen and make up a plate of chicken with a dog treat, we then go upstairs where I'll feed my pups Mika and Luna then they find there favourite spot and go to sleep,if iI don't move quick enough from my chair she will bark at me, tonight Mika hasn't done anything and turned her nose up at her Supper.

I have Geordies ashes next to my bed with a couple of his photographs and paw print, I can still get to see him, its still hard to believe he has gone and ill never see him again.

I've always had dogs, Don't think I've ever gone without a dog, my house isn't a home without them. Now I'm getting older I certainly can't have puppy's as haven't got the energy but living in a house with only 1 pup will be so hard, my house will feel empty.

She has at last fell asleep I can hear her snoring, hopefully its just a bug and needs to fight it off, sadly my head and heart are thinking something else.
