I've been stuck in the house loaded with cold all thanks to be youngest daughter, we have no one else to blame so she's getting it. Me and dad went to drop her off at work being the good parents doing her a favour she thanked us by sneezing in the car without any cover, me and hubby both said I bet we get your cold, and we did but our colds were way worse than hers, I think I've had the flu. I haven't had a cold like it for years, it's really knocked me on my back. A sneeze can travel up to 150km an hour whilst a cough travels a little faster at 160km, covering with a hankie would stop so many gems from being spread.

I have spent the last few days staying in bed sleeping and going through so many hankies blowing my nose. I had to sit in the shower today as had a cold flush, was soaking and shivering, haven't felt this bad for along time, hubby is loaded to buy thankfully not as bad as me.

We have had company all well, my daughters boyfriend has been round quite a bit, he seems to enjoy our cooking and company, he's a lovely lad very polite and respectful. I've nene seen my daughtet smile so much when he's around plus I love the way he looks at her when he thinks no one is watching abs the way he cares for her, its lovely especially after her last boyfriend. Its all I could ask for, they make the perfect couple.

I'm still finding it very hard to cope since I lost my little man Geordie before Christmas, the house seems empty without him, I still find myself expecting to see him especially when I'm handing my other two pups treats. It is hard to get the last memory of him on the Kitchen floor. He's a big miss he certainly left his mark here, he will never be forgotten.

There was so much happening the day we found Geordie on the Kitchen floor, hubby was in hospital having a hip replacement and he was made redundant two days later. I can't see hubby going back into the construction trade as he still needs his other hip replaced plus both knees. I've been trying to think of ways he could retire early. One thought is sell the house and buy a static mobile home, one that is on a park area. The homes can be pretty reasonable plus it would give us enough money in the bank for us to retire and enjoy our retirement then it would leave a holiday home for my daughter. I've soon a couple of park areas that I like but have to do some research on if we can live in the home for 12 months or not as his mum had one a few years ago, she had to leave the home for 2 months and find sonewhere to stay.

Its a big decision but seems to be a good idea for us especially now we are both disabled, a mobile home is all one level so no stairs to climb plus less cleaning, sounds good to me. We need to do a lot of talking about it, plus a lot of research. I am going to look into different places to retire as have always wanted to go abroad, even more with the way the UK is going, so many people are leaving. I need somewhere warmer than here, its too cold in the north east, the warmth would certainly help my pains. Hubby would be happy if we lived next to a golf course, he's easy to please.

Thanks for visiting. πŸ’ŸπŸ’Ÿ
