Hi, I hope you have all has a good weekend. I've had another busy one, I've had to do alot of driving as hubby can't drive for long after his hip replacement. Getting to the shops is now up to me, thankfully hubby is starting to get back into the drivers seat taking a little pressure off me.

I took this photo whilst hubby had taken over the driving, the sunset looked beautiful.

I was looking forward to today as we had no where to be nor did we have any workmen as all the jobs were done. Hubby was making us a Sunday lunch, we invited his mum, that meant more driving picking her up then dropping her off, I didn't mind as I love his mum, she's an amazing woman. I think more of her than I do for my own mother.

Its been a good week, the new windows and doors are installed and I love it, the house feels warmer plus we are hearing less from outside. We are expecting someone from Hilarys blinds to come measure up tomorrow this is for the kitchen window, I may ask to see what nets/voiles they have available for my bedroom windows. We are now planning our next home improvements.

We have a small spare room that we have had a few plans for, we have decided to use it as a room to store all our spare bits hoover, carpet cleaners etc, we are going to buy a couple of large wardrobes where we can store Summer/Winter clothes, this will keep the rest of the house tidier. We are going to give it a refresh painting plus put shelves up for my angel collection. We don't really need another bedroom unless his mum wants to come live with us.

Tomorrow is going to be a challenging day as we are both going on a sugar free, bread free eating plan, plus a 12 hour fast each day. That means no cake for me and no whisky for hubby. I want to loose a bit of weight before my 60th, I want to go into my 60s with a slimmer body and hopefully one that's a little healthier. If I can lose weight I will definitely put my Diabetes into remission.

I have been thinking about getting old a lot lately, you know it's coming you know things are going to change but can't put myself there, I can't see myself 80 or older, it's even harder to think one day I won't be here, one day none of us will be here. Its inevitable, even those with money have no escape so maybe we should all be thinking more about living in peace. When your young you don't think about getting old, sadly it comes around far too quicky. Do you ever think about your mortality?

Anyway I have a 60th to plan, what do I do, Party, Family meal, Holiday or let it slip pass quietly. I want to make memories for my daughter Nichola I want her to remember all the good times we have had. I have just under 3 months to plan something. Any ideas?

Thanks for visiting. πŸ’ŸπŸ’Ÿ
