At the core of who I am, I am free spirited. It’s hard for me to be confined any place for too long without going crazy.
I’m not one for rules and am also not very task oriented. I’m a free thinker. I have have an artistic mind and not as much an intellectual one.
My decision making comes mainly from my heart and my emotions, not from my head. I struggle with any sort of schedules or timelines.
I never really liked school because I was always confined in a class room. I don’t like most jobs because I’m confined in an office, needing to ask permission to take days off.
If you notice in nature, nothing is confined. There are no rules. Animals are free (except obviously if they are held in a zoo or something).
Birds, flies, deer, bears, squirrels, geese, they all enjoy the outdoors and have total freedom. They don’t have to ask permission to use the restroom or to travel to another side of the forest.
In nature, everything just is. That’s one of the reasons people find it so relaxing and enjoyable. They can decompress and collect their thoughts without the hindrance of confinement.
Nature is beautiful. It’s uplifting. It brings hope. It brings inspiration. It brings new life. God definitely knew what he was doing when he created this planet.
Are you a fan of the outdoors? I hope you are. Everything is so simple in nature. Sometimes we humans complicate things more than we need to.
This life is a journey. Let’s embrace the beauty all around us. Take it in, breathe it in, and reflect on the freedom we can take hold of each and every day.
