Sorry Steemit I feel like I have sort of disowned you! I had all intentions of posting whilst I was on holiday, I even took my laptop with me to write whilst away BUT well??? Life got the better of me and I was enjoying it so much!
My boyfriend and I took a ten day trip to sunny Paphos in Cyprus. It was also sort of a birthday present but I don't like making a big fuss for my birthdays so we just called it a holiday. The perfect thing about it though was surprising my Mum and Dad as they were also enjoying their holidays in Paphos, and with me living in Berlin it was a fantastic idea from my lovely boyfriend to visit family after not seeing them in a while
So a surprise holiday and reunion that's what I was so busy enjoying that I totally forgot I brought the laptop! Woopsy!
Now that I am back though, I am very excited to start again with Steemit, reading amazing posts from all you lovely Steemians and writing a few of my own about my trip. I also touched on Trading (before I got up and left) and I will show you how I have been doing with that whilst I have been away enjoying the sunshine.

Did you see the stork? Is it a stork? I went there when i was 11!
Oh I'm not too sure on that one? Is it a bird in Paphos you seen?
Hmmm, so this was like more than twenty years ago (and suddenly I feel old), there was an old stork who would hang out at the dock and let people feed it, it was quite the tourist attraction. Lots of associated merchandise etc. I guess that particular individual has long died and no other entrepreneurial stork took his place! It's like in Ireland we have Fungi the dolphin who always says hello to tourists, a whole industry builds around one individual and I guess it must rather take the bottom out of it all when the thing dies!
OK I actually vaguely remember it ... But I did not see it on my most recent visit just there I think it may have passed away! I do remember my mum mentioning that at restaurant near the Port in Paphos had a particularly large bird that just walked around the customers? maybe that might be something to do with it! But you see anything there, I seen a guy walking about with a huge lizard and it had a necklace on =))
Yes it is pretty sad for the animals I hope they are't treated badly from the tourists but I can see how it is good and bad thing for the industry!
