You are right. Martin Luther King Jr. said and I quote "the function of education is to teach one to think intensively and to think critically. Intelligence and character - that is the goal of a true education". Most times, people think education is all about what they get in classrooms, but it goes beyond that. As we go on in life, we continue to learn; we learn how to manage finances, clients and so on. These are life education. In fact, when people get to read books from successful authors, they get to avoid mistakes or find a faster ways of getting results. When people get to try new things and fail, they learn how to become better in it. It's sad people get comfortable with the little knowledge they have and are not ready to learn better ways of doing things. With time, they become obsolete. Reading the latest update in one's line of business will go a long way to save one from failure that may arise as a result of new changes in the business.
