Types this from his computer and shares via internet that were created by capitalism, has the free time to share this due to the freedoms afforded by capitalism, Still watches TV instead of reading useful information, only works 40 hours a week, listens to people he thinks are in control, complains with memes like this rather than creates something of value to trade for capital and empower himself, doesn't understand that we have crony capitalism and bashes capitalism in general because of his ignorance, all from his home with modern luxuries such as electricity, plumbing, and heat that was constructed by useful people in exchange for capital (although i'm sure he'd argue he could have done it all himself or the government could have given him the home for free). Wants the government to come give him free hand outs taken from the productive people of society instead of exchanging his time or something of value for capital. Silly human, just doesn't get it

Pretty sure that the computer was created in communist China. And why is it that you say that the internet was created by capitalism? I'm pretty sure it was created by students at MIT. Don't know about aliens and all that, but from my perspective Eric has always been hardworking, contributing, sharing and not focused on getting rich at the expense of his fellow community members. His plumbing was done by him, by hand, and is gravity feed. His electricity, last I checked, was solar panels and maybe the odd use of a generator (not sure on that one). His heat is wood heat (and he does chop wood... quite efficiently, I might add). I've never heard him ask for a hand out... quite the opposite, he's often lending a hand. But, hey, keeping watching them youtube videos, they are definitely not crony propaganda like what's on tv, they are the real deal!

My response; (new response, read this)

Maybe assembled in china for a better cost saving for the consumer but the tech was developed via the capitalist system. Apple or Microsoft were both designed by people that have been generously rewarded for their contributions. Not sure if you've checked apple stock lately. The internet was created via ideas that were funded from capital. The internet infrastructure was all installed by people that were paid capital for their labour. I'm sure that is why Eric has been able to afford a home, a computer, a solar system, etc that it is from capital he earned. He would not have all this if he was on welfare. A generator, solar system, building your own place does not come from a welfare state; that comes from capital that he was reimbursed from these hard working traits that you have described. Capitalism is the fare exchange of ones time, labour, ideas, contributions in exchange for other's inputs. Where there is any injustice there I will not understand. The governments' taxation, printing of phoney money, bailing out of banks, and issuance of the currency in the form of debt it where the problems lie. Capitalism is what has gotten us to where we are. It is the reason you can eat fresh food all winter, use technology, drive a car, heat your home, etc. I won't argue anymore. You guys seem quite dedicated to your idea that capitalism is the problem and I'm sure you think more government regulation is the answer. However you still enjoy all the luxuries afforded by capitalism with little gratitude. Do you guys just work for free then since you don't believe in exchanging capital for your contributions?

Those of us that are truly informed realize that capitalism is an amazing system. The problem is that we do not have sound money and the governments are always robbing our wealth via inflation and taxes. That is why the informed choose 'hard money' that can not easily be counterfeited and centrally controlled.

I love you guys. Thank you for reading and allowing me the space to share my 'radical' ideas.

Well except the current version of capitalism has removed all opportunities at natural corrections.

That isn't really capitalism is it?

I completely agree. I propose a possible solution in my next post. It wasn't received very well. Zero likes, while his comments have multiple likes. I guess I'm loosing. :)

The thread continues; I offer a possible solution to the problem you point out.
