Steemit & Steem have huge upside potential for anyone who puts in even a little work!

in #life6 years ago (edited)

I have been on Steemit for around 10 months and post on a semi-regular basis. However, anyone can look at my blog and see that I haven't made anything that could be called excellent work, super consistent output, or extraordinary art, writing, photos, etc.

Still, I have been able to build up my Steem Power to an okay level considering how low-energy/lazy I tend to be. I'm amazed at how much progress I have made with so little effort on my part. Sure, I do work hard on some of the artwork that I have created and posted, but I would do that even if I wasn't making any money on Steemit.

Most of what I post is mediocre at best. Yet, I have found a niche that allows me to actually make a little bit of money from my otherwise totally un-monetized activities on the internet. Also, the value of Steem does fluctuate and even though it is lower now than it was months ago, just consider how low it has been in the not that distant past when it was first starting out. The value is likely to go up and up in the long term and it's better to look at investing from a more big picture perspective usually.

I continue to slowly, but steadily, build up my Steem Power because I do believe in the long term potential that it has. I'm not a rich/middle class/or even working class person (I'm dirt poor/borderline homeless, tbh) or I would invest my own money into it. (especially at current prices) The awesome thing is that even though I have no money to invest, I do have some time and some tiny artistic talents that I can profit from occasionally.

So, I just wanted to say thanks to everyone who has ever upvoted my stuff and thanks to Steemit for creating this strange new world for all of us to explore in our own unique ways.

Have a great morning, day, or evening wherever you are in the world! :)
