This weekend was an interesting one.. I did something I never thought I would do in my life.... I shot a gun.
It was never on my bucket list because I never felt the need to do it. But with all the craziness in the world right now, my husband thought it was a good idea to try it. So he bought a groupon to a shooting range near our house. It was fun, but scary... 29 years and I've never known the real force of a gun. I've never even been one that's been fired near me... and I am very thankful for that.
We started with a safety/training class and then were able to shoot live rounds with a revolver and semi automatic hand gun.
As silly as it sounds, shooting a gun reminded me of learning how to hit a golf ball. No they're not similar but the technique you have to learn interests me. It was a great date and maybe we'll do it again....
Congrats on firing your first gun. They require a little more skill to use one accurately than what you see in the movies and video games.
So true!!!!! We had a great instructor!
