People lying around

When you're reading this, chances are good that you're some white guy from any western country. If not, still you have access to the internet so your current life situation can't be that horrible. Well, of course it can, but I'll assume you are at least in a okay state of mind, just like me. As such a person with your everyday life sorrows you might had 2-3 meals today, went to work, school or college and now you are chilling around trying to get mentally prepared for tomorrow.
Browsing Youtube is the best distraction if you want to not think about tiring thoughts of situations you have to face tomorrow or at least by Saturday. Your favourite content creators make you laugh, the best possible way a exhausting day could come to an end. Social media checked, aswell as that funny mobile game you found some months ago, which basically annoys you but you still keep playing it every day since you don't wanna lose your hardly gained progress. At least thats how I ended up scrolling through the Youtube trending section once again.
Not finding anything of interest, I eventually got to the weird side of Youtube. Some arabic-looking letters and a thumbnail I could'nt identify anything on made me click it.
The video showed armed people running behind barricades, rushing through trenches, crawling between bushes hoping they won't get hit. A soldier fired heavy arillery.
I paused the video.
This moment. He wanted to kill someone. Not just considering or saying, but indeed what he most desired, was this bullet shattering someone elses skull into thousands of pieces.
Another video, 20 seconds.
Someone walked around in a military camp and focused on some people lying around. It was in remarkable bad quality, so it took some time till I noticed that one of their heads wasn't quite right. Apparently, it was split into two parts.
I was not abled to see any details of those peoples faces, but it seemed some of them weren't that old actually. Those corpses haven't been alive that long before.

Somedays watching the news, there is a short report about who conquered whatever city somewhere in the Middle East. I don't care, it's just none of my business. Armies fighting tough fights, thousands of innocents dying, missiles hunting down their targets. I guess that's just a ordinary process in development of cultures and societies. But watching these videos, uploaded just another couple of days ago, made me think.
A few thousands of kilometres away people wonder if they are still alive 24h in the future, because they might get ripped apart by a bomb or penetrated by a thunder of letal bullets after they fell asleep.

Right now, when you waste your time reading this text and I'm thinking of fitting words.

And then there is me, silly me, worrying if there is still a matching pair of socks in the drawer.

I know, there isn't really a thing I can do about those human beings dying for whatever dumb reasons, but still.
It doesn't feel rigtht, and oh boy,
Shit just became real.
