Rest in Peace - A Dedicatory to Milds

Hello steemit, how are you? days I have been away, this post won´t be about what I usually post, it will a dedicatory to our little cat, Milds.

Milds passed away in the early morning(here in Brazil) August, 7. Although I demonstrate to be strong to the other members of the house, the matters in my heart are not exactly so. She was my companion and stayed with me every day, every day. She slept in my belly or between my and my fiance. In this exact moment I am feeling an emptiness, the house seems to be much emptier now that it is gone. It is now that I realize that it was the only thing that made me not feel alone when no one else was around. Feelings aside(or not), I will talk a little about MIlds .

Milds was a domestic cat of exotic beauty, there was no way of not finding it cute and fluffy. It was about to complete 19 years of life, what is a victory for many cats. It loved raw meat and the liquid of cat food pouch, loved to drink water from the fountain and from the bathroom´s faucet. Sometimes it drove us crazy when it started to meow at 5 am until everyone got up just to give it food and faucet water.

I met it a little more than 3 years ago. It was with my fiance and her family since little, they found her in the park. Despite three years seeming little, it didn’t take long until it became my inseparable companion. There is no better sensation of a being you love, sleeping together with you every day, I almost didn’t move because it irritated it, I would wake up with pain in the morning, sometimes annoyed, but at night, if it didn’t came to sleep to begin with, I would call it because I didn’t want to leave it alone, she always came. Until the time of its death it slept between me and my fiance.

We would be angry and annoyed at times, I know many do. I say don´t, because when our cats get sick they no longer meow, don´t wake you up and mainly when they go to a better place, it is missed, even what annoyed you is missed. Sometimes we live life without looking at the small and good details, sometimes we focus on things without much importance, always stop and think. You will never be ready for when something bad like death happens, however we also have to stop being selfish and allow who we love to go instead of feeling pain and frustration.

Milds was an incredible cat and will always be with me in my heart.
