So, a lot of people tell you that money is not important in life… I don’t agree with this!
(I’m also not saying it is the most important thing in life, don’t crucify me already! :P )
For disagreeing with this, I decided to make this small article enumerating the only three purposes money serves.
1 – Money Serves to Buy Things You Need
Yes, food is just one of the many examples…
There are many things that you need during your lifetime and there’s only two ways you get them: either you produce them, or you buy them.
And guess what…?
You can’t produce everything you need!
2 – Money Serves to Buy Experiences That Make You Happy
Exactly! Money doesn’t make you happy! That is true, but it can help A LOT.
In denial?
Close your eyes and picture yourself in one of the places you always dreamed off visiting. It can be Istambul, or the Maldives, seycheles, Puket, wherever… Would you be happier there than doing exactly what you’re doing now?
Yes?
What keeps you from LIVING there?
Yes, you got that, right? Money!
3 – Money Serves to Make More Money
Yes, one of the most important things that you can do with money is to invest it and generate more. And then it’s a cycle that will make you more money that you can spend in the things you need, the experiences that make you happy and… In making more money!
So, net time you hear someone say that money is not important, remember this purposes!
