Overthinking..!!

Often, in this hubbub of life, we forget to live with peace and balance in life. Or say, we don’t really are able to recognize how to do it. We hesitate, we get nervous, we do not sit still and roam here and there, we push ourselves hard through situations that are beyond our control. We want to do more and turn up multitasking which in turn ruin things. We must only do one thing at a time. And no matter how hard the situation is, we must relax. Now here, relaxing doesn’t mean we have to just sit and wait for the situation to get better. No, it here means to not panic, take it easy, work on the solution, and if still not in the hands, leave it up to God. Do never take the problem in the head or otherwise you will end up in the never-ending vicious cycle of overthinking.

I am telling this from my experience. Even I have taken a problem in my head which I am unable to get a solution of. And I confess I am stuck overthinking. You didn’t really know how hard it is for me to avoid it and focus in my work. But I am doing, still doing. Because one thing is that I have to move ahead no matter what, no one is coming to save me if I be still for days. And the other thing is as the same it is you have to move ahead no matter what because life goes on, it never stops, time never stops for anything, anyone, it’s just that our days, time pass by like that by doing nothing, fearing about things like what will happen in the future, where we’ll end up, and what we’ll end up doing. To stop such unwanted thoughts and always be ready to move ahead no matter what the situation is, let us discuss about the topic we mentioned earlier in this article and which is the most common and most important topic to discuss about in life that is – “Overthinking.”

Overthinking is the major cause of all the problems in the life of teenagers, adults, and even in the elder people. Overthinking causes problems which actually do not exist in the real life. It happened with me too. Overthinking has caused me problems which I used to only think about and which really never existed in my life before. But now they are, making me anxious, nervous, depressed, and out of life. Now, I have no choice left except to accept the situation and move ahead hoping for the best in the future yet triggered by unwanted thoughts which me restless again and again whenever I try to focus in my work. Still, the thing is as it is no matter how many times, I think about it and how many times I discuss about it. I am still not saying I can get rid of my negative thoughts completely and move ahead, it’s just that I am moving ahead because I have no choice left and who knows maybe life turns out to be better.

Let us discuss more about this topic. How do you actually know when you’re overthinking? You keep dwelling on your past mistakes and scenarios in your head. The worst possible solution you can think is you think that it is all over and no matter you cannot start all over again. You’re really stuck in the past and no matter how hard you try you are unable to get out of it. You’re stuck at a certain point, certain scenarios which are now beyond your control and you think you’re the victim. A series of scenarios from your past keep flashing back your mind no matter you sleep in the day or at night. You think you must have performed better; it could have got better. You cannot really sleep not in the day, not even in the night. Panicking is all you can see imagining all future scenarios at its worst. Not living in the present moment but always in the past. Living like it’s all still and you are just moving ahead with no purpose or no target at your head. Holding tight inner intuitions that something bad is going to happen. You think you cannot move ahead until your past mistakes are fixed or you have forgiven yourself. You want to either sort it all out or do not want to live. You think down of yourself and the rejection from the people you love the most breaks you down to the core. You have experienced all of this before also but now you think that this is the end of it and now things are far beyond your control.

Overthinking can cause you change in appetite. You will feel like eating less. You will also feel like eating-sleeping, eating-sleeping, and stuck in this seemingly never-ending vicious cycle. You will feel difficulty focusing on things. You brain will not look like as if it is in center. You will always feel a contour of emotions rolling back in your head again and again traumatizing you into believing that only something wrong is going to happen in the near future, which ultimately takes your days, hours, months into waste and you can do nothing to take over. You can also have feelings of nausea, headaches, and fatigue.

All it. Now, let us discuss the ways to stop overthinking

If you’re an overthinker, I know what I am saying will feel hard to you to listen to. You need to take charge of the things you are in control of and let go of things which are beyond your control. Distract yourself with something, write something, read something, watch a movie, exercise, meditate, do yoga. Don’t think inferior of yourself, think about the things which are in best interest for you, accept yourself fully, do not run away from yourself because if you only will not accept yourself who else will? Or if none of it is working, get a therapy or arrange a counselor for yourself who can guide you in the best way possible.
